I had expected that we would be awake at the crack of dawn, but we woke up shortly after 7:00. We got up and ready and then headed up to the Windjammer for breakfast. Graham just had some fruit, and I had bagel with cream cheese and roast turkey. This was delicious.
After breakfast, we headed out to the pool deck. Graham went for a swim, and I did what turned out to be the last session of aqua aerobics. This was a lot of fun again and provided a great workout. Once we were done, we dried off and then went to the cabin to get showered and changed. Then we headed downstairs to the Two70.
Progressive trivia was taking place earlier that day as it was Remembrance Day and there was a Remembrance Day service taking place in the Two70 at 11:00. When we came in, the table with where everybody stood was up on the big screen. We were delighted that we had made it into the first quarter. This round was tougher than the one the day before and we scored only 7 out of 20.

After progressive trivia, we headed down to the Music Hall for morning trivia. We did better with this and score 15 out of 20 with a winning score of 18.
Next up in the Music Hall was visual trivia animated movies and fairytales. We knew that this was going to be Disney and decided to stick around. The starting time for this came and went, but there was no host. We were just about to give up when a very harassed member of the entertainment staff arrived. Apparently, he had been asked to cover this at the last minute. This trivia was fiendishly difficult. It consisted of three parts. The first part consisted of silhouettes of characters, and we had to guess the character. I did well with this. For the second round, our host played very short snippets of dialogue, and we had to guess the character and the film. For the final round, our host played snippets of songs, and we had to guess the song title and the film. For the second and third rounds, we only got the point if we got both parts of the question correct. We scored 17 out of 30, which I was pretty pleased about. However, the winning score was 30.
After this trivia marathon, we headed up to the Seaplex for some lunch at Playmakers. Playmakers comes with a la carte pricing, but always provided huge portions at very low cost. They also have amazing nachos. Whenever we are on a ship that has Playmakers, we always make sure that we have the nachos once per cruise. We had the pile on nachos with chili con carne. The price had doubled since 2022, but we thought this still good value based on past experiences. We have always shared the nachos and never once managed to finish them. Well, the portion has shrunk. Not only did we have every last crumb, but we were still hungry afterwards. I think we would probably have managed a portion each. They were however as delicious as always. Graham had a glass of Chardonnay, and I had the Knockout Punch, which consisted of light rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, grenadine, and a float of dark rum. This was the third cocktail I have tried at Playmakers over the years and none of them has really thrilled me. This is surprising as the cocktails that are unique to one venue are normally very good.

We had a bit of wait for the bill. Once we had paid, we decided to get some more food. We decided to stick with the Mexican theme and went to El Loco Fresh. Graham had a nacho bowl with beef and chicken carnitas, which met with his seal of approval. He also had some plain tortilla chips on the side. I also had a nacho bowl but decided to give the chilli beef a try. It tasted like it came out of a tin. However, with the addition of some guacamole, it was not bad. I had some vanilla and chocolate soft serve ice cream for dessert.
Now that we were well in international waters, I went to the logo shop to pick up my Spirit Jersey. Normally I wear 2XL for tops, but with Spirit Jerseys, I can get away with XL. When they put them out a few days earlier, the largest size was XL. I do however like my tops a little baggy and I was delighted when I spotted a couple of Spirt Jerseys in 2XL. I got one of them.
I headed back to the cabin to drop off my precious and to add the tags to some more ducks. I then went to hide the ducks and then I went to find Graham. He was sitting on a sofa near the Seaplex. While I was otherwise occupied, he had been challenged to a game of chess. There was an outdoor chess set near the Seaplex. The teenager who had challenged him had underestimated Graham and apparently had stomped off without even saying thank you when he lost. Graham was very amused by the whole thing.

While we were sitting outside, the Captain Per made an announcement. Apparently, we had changed course. I am totally oblivious to things like this, but Graham normally picks up on a change of direction straightaway. However, he was just as surprised about this as I was. Unfortunately, one of the crew had taken ill and had to be taken to hospital. We were rerouting to Ponta Delgada in the Azores where we would be met by a boat later that evening. Captain Per reassured us that this would not impact our arrival time at Cape Liberty. I suppose it was a stroke of luck that the member of crew was taken ill when he did. Twenty-four hours later there would not have been anywhere we could have diverted to.
We headed down to the Music Hall in time for trivia @ 5. There were roving bartenders that afternoon and we both decided to have a mocktail. Graham had a virgin pina colada and I had a strawberry limeade. We did OK at trivia that night. We scored 16 out of 20 and I actually thought this may be a winning score. However, the winning score was 18. Still, I was very happy with our result.
After trivia @ 5, we headed up to the Roy bar for a while. Graham had a Sangria, and I had a Passion Spritz. We knew that there would be a super moon that week. We were still a little way off from a full moon, but the moon was already looking impressive. I took some photos, and we decided to come back upstairs after dinner when it was completely dark.

We headed back to the cabin to get changed and then we went downstairs for some photos. There was only one backdrop out and getting photos did not take very long. We passed on the stair and balcony shots. Then we headed downstairs for dinner.

Dinner than night was the A Taste of Italy menu. This is one of my favourite menus. However, I tend to make the same choices every time. This time round, I decided to mix things up. I started with the Minestrone. Graham passed on a starter. For our main course, we both had the lasagne, which was delicious. For his dessert, Graham had the lemon curd tartlet, and I had the Tiramisu. We both enjoyed our desserts. We had decided to mix up our wine selection and had a glass of Moscato each. I normally really like the Moscato on Odyssey, but this was not as good as they one we had on the Holy Land cruise in 2022 or as the one at Giovanni’s Kitchen.

After dinner, we quickly went back to the cabin to pick up some layers and Graham’s telescope. Then we headed back to the pool deck. We headed to the area all the way aft, but there was no moon to be seen. It had suddenly got very cloudy. We were just about to give up when there was a break in the clouds. We managed to get a good look at it through the telescope. However, I did not manage to get a decent photo. My phone kept focusing on the lights on the ship rather than on the moon. It was still a cool thing to see.
We took a lap around the sundeck to see if we could get a better vantage point, but the moon went hiding behind the clouds again. We went back to the cabin and got ready for bed. I set the time on my gadgets back by an hour. Then I read for a short while, but soon we were both asleep.
